Armor Customization

While I am well aware it is still early in the process of making and building the server. I'm left with a few questions, some that have been answered by reading over the form and some that are being awaited on. I do however feel the need to ask; will there be free reign customization for one's armor.

I know there are many different armor modification tools but I prefer the one that allows me to sift through every little detailed piece in game. Much like the one on "Tales of Amn" or "Sigil." As opposed to the "Appearance Changer" from other servers such as "Dalelands" and "Baulder's Gate."

Ooh, definitely agreeing here. Being able to customize in-game saves staff time, toolset woes, controls the content server-side and allows for flexibility and individuality.

I'd love to know what this server was looking to do with that.

What I believe we're doing, as per the last conversation had between developers on this topic, was that we were aiming for an armor system like what is had on ToA, Sigil, Haven, Rigila, etc where you can have near full control over each individual armor part and its color - as opposed to selecting presets like on DB, etc.

Of course, this may change if it proves unworkable, but I don't think any of us are fans of that system that DB currently uses.
